Winnica Na Leśnej Polanie

        "Vineyard on the Forest Glade" of Małgorzata and Jaroslaw Lewandowski was founded in 1999 in Proczki - a tiny hamlet situated on a glade surrounded by forests and picturesque lakes in the Zabór municipality. A year later, plantings were made in order to produce dessert fruit. The first grape wine was made here in 2002.

        For the first time, the vineyard presented itself at "Wine Fest - Days of Zielona Góra" in 2003. The next four years were the gradual development and expansion of the vineyard and time of intensive work on the development of vine nurseries. Currently, there are more than 50 varieties of vines in the nursery. A large part of the 'Vineyard on the Forest Glade” is also located on a hill between Łaz and Zabór.

        In total the Lewandowskis cultivate an area of 4.5 hectares which includes the following varieties: Bianca, Dornfelder, Müller Thurgau, Oporto, Ortega, pinot blanc, pinot gris, Riesling and Traminer pink. For years, the vineyard has presented itself at various events in Poland and abroad and has participated in many wine competitions of and has collected numerous awards. The owners of the vineyard also run agro-tourism that offers 8 beds. It is a quiet village, only one step from the forest and the lake. Beautiful scenery provide great resting conditions to enthusiasts of hiking, mountain biking, mushrooming, fishing, and those who want to escape the hustle and bustle of the big city.
