Wine Museum, a permanent exhibition oh the Museum of Lubuskie, is the only such place in the country which is fully dedicated to the history of wine production in this part of Europe, connected to the production of wines in Poland. Collections are located in the renovated basements of the building, and the direction of touring resembles the cycle of wine production. It begins with the work on the vineyard and ends with filling bottles.
"Hiki" Vineyard is situated in the village Bycz, near Bytom Odrzański, at an altitude of 102 meters above sea level. In 2006, on a sandy loam soil, the first 400 pieces of vine were planted. Currently, more than 3,000 shrubs are grown on the area of one hectare. They include the following varieties: acolon, Cabernet Cortis, pinot noir, Riesling, Solaris, Traminer and Zweigelt.
"Vineyard in Zabór" of Paweł and Zbigniew Trojan was founded in 2014. It covers 2 hectares on a hill located between Łaz and Zabór. Wine grape varieties grown here include: Johanniter, monarch, red Riesling, regent, Solaris, and Traminer. In the future a house with a wine cellar is likely to be built.
Renata and Miroslaw Stępień have grown vines in Wilkanowie since 1993 on the vineyard they called "Bacchus Field". They liked the vine as they appreciated this utility plant that had been known to mankind at least since Neolithic times for quality of wine produced from it and a variety of other applications. They gave the same name to the area on a hill between Łaz and Zabór.
"Family Vineyard Żelazny" was founded by Bronislaw and Zdzislaw Zelazny in 2008 in the town of Maszewo near Krosno Odrzanskie. It used to be a small vineyard with just a few hundred shrubs of only three varieties. Currently, under the same family name the family grows the area of about 3 hectares on the hill between Łaz and Zabór.
"Vae Soli" Vineyard of Andrew Prusiński covers two hectares of the hill between Łaz and Zabór. About 4500 pieces of grapevines of the following varieties are planted here: Johanniter, monarch, regent, Solaris and Traminer. "Vae Soli" Vineyard is very young and the first professional harvests, which will enable production of wine, are planned for 2016.
"Vineyard on the Forest Glade" of Małgorzata and Jaroslaw Lewandowski was founded in 1999 in Proczki - a tiny hamlet situated on a glade surrounded by forests and picturesque lakes in the Zabór municipality. A year later, plantings were made in order to produce dessert fruit. The first grape wine was made here in 2002.
