Muzeum Ziemi Lubuskiej w Zielonej Górze

         Wine Museum, a permanent exhibition oh the Museum of Lubuskie, is the only such place in the country which is fully dedicated to the history of wine production in this part of Europe, connected to the production of wines in Poland. Collections are located in the renovated basements of the building, and the direction of touring resembles the cycle of wine production. It begins with the work on the vineyard and ends with filling bottles.
       Part of the exhibition is the archival photographs, on which you can see what work looked like in the old factory Grempler & Co., Germany's oldest sparkling wine manufacturer, later Lubusz Winery. Other photographs relate to the celebration of grape harvest and show the famous processions.
       Irena Bierwiaczonek's images refer to the production of wine and anecdotes about winemaking in Zielona Góra are shown on watercolours by Jerzy Fedro. An exhibition of antique glassware illustrating the high culture of wine consumption in Lower Silesia is the additional attraction. Museum exhibition is not only artefacts, but also a place where the largest room where occasional exhibitions devoted to Lubusz vineyards are organized. It is decorated with a collection of sculpted heads of god of wine, Bacchus, made by Wieslaw Arminajtis. A place where numerous wine seminars or young wine festival were held.
