The tradition of retail of Zielona Gora wines in the basement of the town hall dates back to the sixteenth century. Also after the war, local wines could be tasted in Bacchus wine bar, which operated in the historic cellar. Bacchus restaurant still continues the tradition as it was opened in the Old Town in August 2015 by brothers Adam and Alexander Kremer.

The atmosphere draws us into the atmosphere of an old wine tradition back in the days when almost on every hill surrounding the city grapes was grown and wine at times of yield flowed in streams.
